During the storm, Newport was staffed with two Engine crews and the Marine unit. The stations were staffed from 6 pm on September 1 to 2 pm on September 2. The newly placed in service Marine unit was sent all over upper bucks county assisting those companies with their evacuations from the flooding. The members responded to numerous marine calls, alarm systems, auto-fire, and wires in structure responses.
